In recent months, EPF has had the honor of being interviewed by MIT Technology Review alongside our technology partner Siemens. During the interview, we discussed how the landscape of robotics is undergoing a significant transformation, thanks to the emergence of the industrial metaverse and the Sim2Real approach, which are revolutionizing robot learning. This innovative “virtual school” allows robots to practice in real-world scenarios, overcoming the limitations of traditional programming. The Sim2Real method combines virtual training with practical application, offering unprecedented flexibility in training.
At EPF, we have been leveraging this innovative technology for some time. Our solutions, such as SUPATA®, feature a modular and flexible design aimed at meeting the ever-evolving needs of industries. This approach enables us to achieve unprecedented levels of efficiency and scalability. Thanks to these applications, we have gained a significant competitive advantage in identifying future components and products that are not yet present in the market.
The integration of advanced artificial intelligence models allows robots to tackle complex tasks and adapt to a variety of environments. This results in a substantial reduction in training times and an improvement in overall performance.
