EPF recently took part in the orientation days dedicated to the Professional Degree Program in Technologies for the Manufacturing Industry, held at ITIS Mario Delpozzo in Cuneo and IIS G. Vallauri in Fossano, meeting many students interested in an innovative educational pathway closely connected to the manufacturing sector. The initiative was developed through a collaboration between the Politecnico di Torino – Mondovì campus and Confindustria Cuneo, with the aim of strengthening the link between universities and businesses and responding effectively to the needs of the local industrial ecosystem. Within this framework, EPF was selected as one of the region’s virtuous companies, recognized for its commitment to developing manufacturing skills and supporting the growth of the local industrial environment.
Through participation in these initiatives, EPF shared its expertise in key areas of the manufacturing industry, including robotics, vision systems, and mechatronic design, offering students the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into advanced technologies and production processes. The professional degree program is a three-year university course leading to the qualification of Engineer for the Manufacturing Industry, combining a solid academic foundation with practical, company-based experience that enables graduates to integrate quickly into the workplace. The program is structured around four learning areas, foundational studies, sustainability, innovation, and hands-on experience, and is designed to develop technical and transversal skills, as well as teamwork abilities highly valued by companies.
The orientation activities will continue with further school events, supporting students in their future educational choices and reinforcing the link between education and industry, a key driver of competitiveness and innovation across the territory. In this context, EPF is always open to welcoming interns and thesis students interested in developing skills in manufacturing and mechatronics.
